I am a disabled veteran of the first gulf war and I truly admire what this organization stands for and the manner in which a political policy voice is given to veteran's issues.

The U.S. has had hundreds of thousands of men and women who have
served our country, or continue to serve at this time who represent our best.
This group of people can guide and influence the future of America. I feel
confident that we have many leaders in this group that want to have a
voice in assuring that this country will remain free and continue as a democracy.
Our current two party system focuses on those in-office to remain in-office and many
times do not represent the interest of the majority of Americans or their constituency.
I hope a group made up of veterans and their supporters will begin to take an active
role in the leadership of our nation as public servants.
