Saw the interview on Colbert. Just wanted to say -- Troops we support you.

My bro served 19 mo. tour and thankfully, he's back and doing well. Vets in Houston with solid-computer maintenance skills get in touch.

We honor your service and dedication to freedom and the human spirit!

I haven't joined very many things since joining the Navy 44 years ago and the Democratic party 40 years ago. It is with profound gratitude and deepest respect that I now join this organization dedicated to helping our vets and their families. Your contributions transcend all the posturing and rhetoric on both sides of these ill-advised conflicts. Thanks to all the fine men and women in all the service branches who represent America's best.

A lot of committed troops doing hard work everyday and I am very thankful for it. Not just doing the duty to their country but going farther and connecting with the people and creating a better vision of the U.S. Thank you all for your sacrifice.

Have seen Paul on Rachel many times but have never been to the site til the Colbert bump tonight.
Paul our guys and gals couldn't have a better rep back home than you . You're doing a marvelous job and isn't amazing to finally have a President that cares and acts upon his convictions.

Keep on keepin on and any of our vets comin home if they need high payin work should be the first ones offered "Pirate Duty" by private shipping companies..Another thing we're all sick and tired of...We don't need Mossad..offer $300-$500 per day with benefits, if they're interested.

As a veteran of Afghanistan and a long time friend of the Colbert Report, I really appreciate the efforts this website is doing and I hope Americans will actually support our veterans through education, employment, and health care opportunities. Thanks and God bless.

Saw the site on the Colbert Report - you guys have my complete support! My father served proudly in the U.S. Army for 23 years, and though I wear civilian clothes, I am always ready to give what I can for our enlisted men and women.

I very much agree with what was mentioned on the show regarding education. The GI Bill is important! I work at a local community college, and I really hope to see some vets taking advantage of the job-preparation community colleges offer!

I think it's great that this kind of serious issue can be presented on the Colbert Report
and we can come and state our support.
I am thankful for the military action and vets all over the world. I appreciate the sacrifices
they make. It is up to us to keep pressure on the government so that they continue to
support the vets when they come home.

been following Rieckhoff on Rachel's show on msnbc for awhile now. but my registration here can totally be attributed to the Colbert Bump. Thank you Paul, and the rest of the IAVA for all your work. My grandpa just passed away last week. He was a veteran of WWII, Berlin Airlift, and Korean War. I will be honoring his memory by donating to your org every payday.

You guys protect our country and our family's. So u can count on me to do the same for you.

I am an Australian Army Officer who deployed to Afghanistan in 2007. When I returned home I had my own issues but quickly learned that my role as a Platoon Commander had not ceased. I had soldiers with problems and to date have had three of them locked away in padded cells. I have tried to get these guys the support they need and deserve but have had problem after problem. I love the idea of this organisation and only hope that something like this comes about here in Oz....... Keep up the good work.

Colbert Sent Me.

I support all troops. Except for the "just following orders" ones who tortured those they were supposedly liberating. And the ones who think that bombing a village to save it is cool. And the ones who think that drone planes dropping bombs to kill a suspected "insurgent" inflicting dozens or hundreds of "collateral damage" kills is okay. You can thank Stephen Colbert for having me come and bump your site.

I am glad someone is organizing an effort to help vets. Vets give so much but when then come back the government forgets them.
