Just Thank You Vets!
I just wanted to say that I am so proud of all of our military men and women serving our country. My grandfather is a Vietnam Vet and has taught me about what our military go through each and every day, in the battle zones and back at home. They often times don't get the support that they need and deserve, but it is organizations like this that change that. I believe that our new President will do as much as possible to improve the way they get treated and their benefits. It's a great feeling to know that we have such brave and selfless people in our country. Please know that I support our veterans and am so thankful for them. God Bless each and every one of them!

Count me in that number! When our troops come home I will be relieved. What a fine bunch of professional people who work in an extremely dangerous environment. They move together as if they make one giant stealth snake. I hate the war and love the troops.

Many of my friends are Vietnam vets & my dad was an Army Capt during WWII. I realize you're fighting two unpopular wars -- bless all of you for doing it. Yes, I do hate both wars -- and, YES, I SUPPORT ALL OUR TROOPS. From stories told to me by my dad & friends who have served in previous wars, I can only begin to imagine what your days must be like. I want to see ALL of our troops come home UNHARMED & INTACT. My prayers are with all of you daily.

I have never been so proud of the women and men in the US military. My political views aside, the professionalism, the ways in which you have honorable represented us at home and aboard have been the basis for my believing in our country now more than ever!
As an airline pilot for a domestic carrier I have had, in concert with my company and fellow employees, the opportunity to donate travel to returning and injured veterans.....and that is not enough! As a result of the economy, the company for which I am employed is currently not hiring, but that will not last for long. Returning vets, please take a look at AA.com for job opportunities! Please know that we are prioritizing your employment opportunities!
We didn't collect peach pits on the corner as was the case in WWII. We didn't park our SUV's to take the wind ($$) out of the sails of those who would do us harm. But damn it, we can do more despite the complete lack of leadership that we have experienced during this conflict!
