ThanksUSA is a non-profit organization dedicated to “giving back” to our U.S. Armed Forces by granting financial need-based, post secondary, educational scholarships to their dependent spouses and children. To raise awareness of the scholarship program, ThanksUSA offers an annual American History Treasure Hunt; presented by the ESA Foundation, the ThanksUSA Treasure Hunt can be played online at www.ThanksUSA.org. ThanksUSA has awarded over $5 million in scholarship funds to more than 1,750 recipients. Now in its fourth year, ThanksUSA plans to award 500 scholarships worth $3,000 each for the 2009/2010 academic year. Scholarship application is available on our website www.ThanksUSA.org from April 1, 2009 - May 15, 2009. The ThanksUSA Treasure Hunt continues until August and a new Treasure Hunt will be released in November.
